Richard Ramyar has led Ramyar Integrated Consulting since 2006 and leverages his extensive expert network, particularly in the areas of financial services, fintech and digital strategy.

Richard served on the Accenture Global Capital Markets practice leadership team, a provider of strategic digital consulting and shared utility solutions to asset managers, wealth managers, private banks, investment banks and market infrastructure providers. He also served as a senior member the Chief Strategy Officer's team providing an internal business line of “advanced consultancy to consultants" in new business development, regulatory engagement, service strategy and thought leadership.

Prior to this, Richard served as head of external relations and innovation for Thomson Reuters Wealth Management and Lipper Fund Intelligence, encompassing relationship management of high value clients, analytics and regulatory product development and regulatory strategy. Previously a product strategy and quantitative consultant for Clarksons Shipping Hedge Fund, IFX Markets and Go4Venture, he started his financial services career at RBS and HBoS and been engaged in B2B sales and marketing throughout his career.

He currently serves as a Commercial Director and Partner in Wipro Digital and as executive sponsor for its parent’s sellside and buyside clients from New York to Zurich. This strategic transformation boutique focuses on digital change, strategy, fintech, regtech, analytics, cloud and innovation. Richard also served as a Director of the Society of Technical Analysts. 

Richard's consultancy has been covered by the financial press and television. The value of his identification and removal of class-action and regulatory risks runs into ten figures and he has presented to the European Parliament ECOFIN Committee and CESR/ESMA, FSA and HM Treasury officials on improving mortgage backed security regulation in the wake of the sub-prime crisis. 

His digital and fintech credentials are rooted in his deep involvement in 'cloud first' sectors from the late 1990s and thorough knowledge of open and closed source software, hardware and service orchestration. He also holds Bachelor of Laws and MBA linked MSc in Business and Management degrees. During research for a widely cited PhD thesis, he worked with exotic derivatives at Bear Stearns while lecturing MBA and MSc postgraduates in the City of London.
